GenericCAW

GenericCAW (GCAW for short) is a 22 year old norwegian music producer who has been known in the Raocow fandom for his Raocow remixes. He is currently working on his first full-length album, to be released in late 2013.

Raocow Remixes

Since 2008, GenericCAW has been working on creating raocow remixes. While his early works consisted of little more than a basic beat rhythm overlayed with raocow talking, his later tracks are often more complex and venture into trance and DnB territory. His main influences are Jim Johnston, The Beatles, Kavinsky and (old-school) Tiesto, and he aims for his tracks to capture feelings in sound. When creating raocow remixes, GenericCAW tends to start by combining certain parts of voice samples until they create a funny or catchy tune, and then builds onto that.

Over the course of now almost 5 years, GenericCAW has made 24 songs featuring raocow, and more than 50 tracks in total. All of his work can be found on his youtube.

Other works

Aside from his raocow remixes, GenericCAW has also created multiple remixes of retro videogame tunes, as well as completely original tracks. In the summer of 2012, he started working on his first full-length album, to be titled “[…]”, although the release date is not yet certain. One of the songs to be on the album is called “Deranged” and is influenced by the story of 20th century necrophiliac Ed Gein.
