The Talkhaus World of text was started around the start of Dec 2009 by gamefreakzach. World of text is basically a blank webpage that anyone can add text to. The page is infinite and to move around you grab the page. Shortly after its creation the website added a coordinates function making it slightly easier to navigate around the page. The fad effectively died around 19th of Dec 2009 but new talkhausers visit when they hear about it and leave their mark.

Features of the original Talkhaus World of Text included the Cat Farm, Tic-Tac-Toe board, Checkers Board, Talkhaus Scrabble and many other things. (Some probably NSFW).

The Big Deletion

Due to unknown reasons, all of the Talkhaus World of Text got deleted around the end of 2011. Since then, it's slowly been refilled, but has fallen into disuse over the years.
