The Most Awesomely Terrible Hack Ever contest was a romhacking contest created by TLs4 in September 2009. Participants were tasked with creating an "awesomely terrible" Super Mario World romhack.
Rules
The challenge: design a short hack (1-3 levels, nothing serious here!) that I will live stream with all the other entries... JUDGE to DEATH, and then crown the most awesomely terrible hack ever!Send your hack to TLs4LP@gmail.com
What is awesomely terrible you ask? Anything you want it to be.
Keep it mind though, it has to be playable! If it's just Mario falling into a hole every time I start the level, I won't bother scoring you! If you happen to be REALLY lazy about your sprite selection, turn mario into a ball of lint, or gimmickize the level... *thumbs up!*
Here's the not-so-formal judging criteria:
Hack Name (10) General Terribleness (15) Playability (25) Laughability (50) /100
When is the hack due? Not for a while... I'll come up with a time to 'close' the contest and live stream them later on! You'll have plenty of notice.
Have fun making the most awesomely terrible hack EVER!
