Sturg

alright who invited the fetching elite koopas to my christian contest

Zatsupachi

Messy. If this enemy rush was done much more cleanly, this would've scored better. There is little-to-no reprieve from each phase since the moment you finish one you are already bushwacked by the next, doesn't help that there's extra spawned enemies with large hitboxes to cover the arena. It's only saving grace is that it's not that long.

Rameau's Nephew

The elites are awkward enemies, and Broadsword's an awkward protagonist, so the two together makes for a very awkward series of kill rooms. I never quite understood why the elites sometimes die in two hits, and why they sometimes take ten lickings and keep on ticking, but perhaps their levels of eliteness simply put them beyond the ken of normal folk. If you collect the mushroom last during the second round, the third round will never start, softlocking you. This, of course, usually occurs when you're doing quite well in the fight. And that's not all that much fun, Gus.

+ Short and doesn't wear out its welcome
- An awkward fight with some awkward foes.

Other: Perhaps the title is telling us that we, too, should strive to achieve the status of an elite training floor.
